Farm Mojito


1 Tbsp. Ginger
Ice
1 tsp. Sugar
5 Ounces Layton’s Chance Farm White Wine
6 to 8 Mint Leaves

Muddle ginger & sugar in Shaker, add Ice, Mint & Wine……Shake pour into glass unstrained.

Mulled Wine


2 Bottles Chambourcin
3 cups Apple Cider
1 Package Mulling Spices
Studded Apples, Cinnamon Sticks

Add all ingredients to a crock pot. Simmer on low, Serve warm.

Rudolph Sparkler


2 Cups Hulled Strawberries
½ cup Orange Juice
1 Bottle Chilled Sparkling Cider or Prosseco
1 Orange
1 bottle Layton’s Chance Bo Berry Strawberry Wine
Mint Leaves

Puree Strawberries in a blender with 2 tbsp. water, put puree in a pitcher or dispenser. Add the Wine and Orange Juice, garnish with Orange slices and Mint.

Red Wine Cider Sangria


3 Btls Layton’s Chance Picnic Red Wine
Chopped Apples
2 cups Apple Cider
2 cups Sparkling Cider or Sparkling Water
1/4 cup Mulling Spices 
Cinnamon Sticks

Mix wine, cider, spices, apples and let sit in fridge for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Add sparkling cider or sparkling water before serving.

4 oz. Layton’s Chance Laura’s Lemonade Wine
4 oz. Unsweetened Iced Tea
Ice
Mint for muddling and garnish
Lemon slices

Place mint leaves in a glass and press to muddle to taste. Add ice, a lemon slice, iced tea and Laura’s Lemonade Wine. Mix, garnish with mint leaves and a lemon slice, and enjoy. To make a bigger batch – follow the 1:1 ratio.

Laura’s Lemonade-Blueberry Sangria


Makes a two-quart pitcher
1 and a half bottles of Layton’s Chance Laura’s Lemonade Wine
1/2 cup tequila
1 cup fresh blueberries, half for muddling
1 sliced lemon
1 cup unflavored seltzer or club soda
1 cup simple syrup

To make simple syrup combine 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Chill before serving. Garnish with lemon slice and a sprig of mint. For an extra kick, add fresh mint to the pitcher.

Laura's Lemonade Blueberry Sangria

 

Fruit Salad with Wine


2 cups seedless green grapes
4 chopped granny smith apples
1 lb sliced fresh strawberries
2 cups cubed watermelon
1 cup sugar
1 cup fruit or wine wine (recommended: Layton’s Chance Watermelon Wine)
handful of chopped mint

Add all of the fruit to a bowl. Bring wine and sugar to a bowl and stir for about 5 minutes until it resembles syrup. Once the syrup has cooled, add it to the fruit and toss with mint. 

Chocolate Red Wine Cupcakes Recipe


1 box of cake mix  (recommended: Devils Food)
½ c. water
¾ c. dry red wine (recommended: Layton’s Chance Chambourcin Wine)
½ c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Mix first 5 ingredients.  Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into cupcake tins so tins are half full. Bake for 20 minutes.

Icing ingredients
1 package cream cheese  
2 tbls red wine
optional: powered sugar to taste

French Dip Sandwich


1 Beef rump roast
2 t. Kosher salt, 1/2 t. pepper
2 t. Vegetable oil
1 cup red wine (recommended: Layton’s Chance Farm Red Wine)
1 large onion sliced
15 oz Beef broth
Dried onion soup mix
2 loaves French bread 

Brown the meat in a large roasting pan with oil, salt and pepper.  Add browned meat to a slow cooker.  Pour wine into used meat pan and reduce for 2 min. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours.
