I visited this winery for the first time on my 21st birthday after my kayak trip at Blackwater, and I just returned a few days ago. The wine is amazing, and the vineyards are lush & very well kept! The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend walking the trail (with a tasty wine slushie) around the back vineyard where you’ll see dozens of dragonflies amongst the huge wildflowers and trees. It’s truly a gem in the countryside, while still being conveniently located.

The staff was wonderful. They let us do set up a little earlier making things easier. They were wonderful given space for the caterer to work. Pam did a wonderful job communicating via e-mail, and the female who supplied the event with wine was great staying on top of filling the bottles and monitoring those who drank to much. I would suggest Layton’s chance to anyone!!!!!

I love the place and all their wines. Their events are always good too. For the last concert all was great. But the food truck did not accept credit cards and we never got any announcement about it. I would appreciate if next time the food truck will accept the cards or we will be notified on time to get cash elsewhere.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Pam was quick to respond to all of my emails (which there were many!!) and the day of the bridal shower I found everything exceeded my expectations. Even with my “running out of forks crisis”, Pam was helpful and our event was just beautiful. Thank you for offering such a lovely place to host the baby shower. It was a perfect day and will hold special memories for sure.
