We offer a variety of wines suited to different tastes. Whether you are an experienced wine drinker or trying wine for the first time, Layton's Chance has a glass for you!
White Wines
Traminette (2010), dry, $16.50
Bright aroma with sharp citrus & green apple flavors.

Vidal Blanc (2009), dry, $16.50
A crisp white wine with hints of grapefruit and peach. Pairs well with pasta and shellfish.

Lazy Day White, semi-sweet, $14.00
A fresh and delicious summer wine, Lazy Day White is made from Traminette grapes, a hybrid offspring of Gewurztraminer. Subtle sweetness adds to its excellent drinkability, and it closely resembles a Riesling. Zesty citrus flavors will bring a smile to your lips as you sit and watch the grapes grow.

Joe's Cool White, sweet, $12.50
A paler version of our famous Joe’s Cool Red. Made with Vidal Blanc and a splash of Concord, this wine goes down very smoothly!
Red Wines
Chambourcin (2009), dry, $16.50
Not your traditional red wine, this refreshingly bright red has a taste of blackberry. Try it in the Frappe Vino!
Chambourcin (2010), dry, $16.50
Firm tannins, medium-bodied, deep berry flavor.

Lazy Day Rosé. Semi-dry, $15.50
Our Rosé is an estate wine, produced from the first grapes planted and harvested here in our own vineyard. Made from Chambourcin grapes, the juice is separated from the skins and stems at the beginning, which minimizes tannins and enhances the fruity, melon flavors.
As the first wine labeled under the Dorchester County appellation, it’s a local favorite!

Joe’s Cool Red, Sweet, $11.50
An all around easy drinking wine, Joe’s Cool Red is named in honor of Joseph Layton, Jr., one of the four founders and owners of Layton’s Chance. The irresistible sweet fruit flavor makes this blend a nice introduction for new wine drinkers. Experienced wine drinkers and novices will all enjoy sipping Joe’s Cool Red while having a Lazy Day at Layton’s Chance.
Fruit Wines
Alison's Wonderful Watermelon Wine, Sweet, $16.50
Enjoy a taste of summer in a bottle! Made from 100% watermelons, this wine is a true local. Scooped by volunteers in the heat of summer, then produced in Dorchester County's first winery, the watermelon wine has been an adventure from the beginning. We're happy to present it this winter, a taste of sweet summer days and melony fruitiness.
Only available at the winery, while supplies last!
