Chambourcin, dry, $16
Our very first dry red wine, the Chambourcin presents itself nicely as a versatile table wine. The distinct structure of balanced acidity and firm tannins pairs nicely with steak or red sauce based pasta. Tastings suggest dark fruit flavors such as currants and blackberries.
Vidal Blanc, Dry, $16
A dry white wine, our Vidal Blanc offers light floral flavors reminiscent of early spring. Light on the nose but full in the mouth, our Vidal has hints of peaches and apricots. Even a typical red wine drinker will enjoy a glass of Vidal on a summer afternoon or with a light supper.
Lazy Day Rosé. Semi-dry, $15
Our Rosé is an estate wine, produced from the first grapes planted and harvested here in our own vineyard. Made from Chambourcin grapes, the juice is separated from the skins and stems at the beginning, which minimizes tannins and enhances the fruity, melon flavors. It’s a house favorite!
Lazy Day White, Semi-sweet,$12
A fresh and delicious summer wine, Lazy Day White is made from Traminette grapes, a hybrid offspring of Gewürztraminer. Subtle sweetness adds to its excellent drinkability, and it closely resembles a Riesling.  Zesty citrus flavors will bring a smile to your lips as you sit and watch the grapes grow.
Joe’s Cool Red, Sweet, $10
An all around easy drinking wine, Joe’s Cool Red is named in honor of Joseph Layton, Jr., one of the four founders and owners of Layton’s Chance. The irresistible sweet fruit flavor makes this blend a nice introduction for new wine drinkers. Experienced wine drinkers and novices will all enjoy sipping Joe’s Cool Red while having a Lazy Day at Layton’s Chance.
