For many of us, the pleasure of good food and drink is heightened by the knowledge that it comes from a place we know.

Appreciation of the land is taken seriously at Layton's Chance, which explains why we've opened a winery here. For the summer beach-goers headed to Ocean City, it's easy to miss the quiet beauty of the farmland on either side of the highway. But those of us who live here know that the silhouette of a farmhouse against the setting sun can make the busiest person take pause.

We invite you to come have a glass of wine, and share the view.

Community Events

We will host a variety of events open to the public, from outdoor concerts in the summer to cozy jazz evenings in winter. You can even come out and join the harvest or learn about making wine!

Hosting Private Events

Layton's Chance welcomes private parties and groups. We have many options for hosting an event, whether a formal dinner, a business luncheon, or a casual celebration with friends.

Our event room is available to rent during normal daytime hours for meetings or luncheons. Standard pricing is $200 (1-30 people), and $300 (30-50 people).
